-- A 4 ANIMATION --
Have you ever noticed about a flag? It doesn't matter how plain its device or colouring, there's nothing prouder, or more confident than a flag flapping high in the breeze..? I'd love to say that I made this resource available for most poncy and noble purposes cos I'm a humanitarian at heart, but I didn't. I did it cos I'm a sucker for flags and, whilst I'm watching 'em fly, it's a bonus to read all about the far away places they represent; the lie of that land; the history of how it came to be, and the life of the people living there. The flag files come in large (586x386) and small (269x193) formats and you can select them either from the drop-down menus (below, left) or by double-clicking on the index links (below, right); a double-click on the flag will return you to this page. The jarfiles which run the small flags are also available for download, these are either selectable from the bottom menu on the left or the jarfile link, bottom right. If you're a student or a schoolkid you'll love this cos it's the easiest way to learn geography and stuff. (*Please note: Although accurate in its presentation this resource does not seek to be complete, for more information please visit the source: HM Foreign & Commonwealth Office) (Quick navigator menus below, left) (Index Pages for flags and downloads below, right)
Thats it, folks.Regards, Sterl' RETURN |
